The latest svn revision (#171) of GrammaFone now has both the flash player and m3u streaming available from the same GUI.  We’ve also updated to the latest JW media player, and the latest script.aculo.usjavascript library as well.

Playlists with the flash player

Written on April 7, 2008 – 6:21 am | by benbruscella

The flash player now works with the full playlist! And it is very nice to use.  Niro has done a great job.

If you want to try this on the demo site, remember that the flash player is not the default play mode.  You have to turn it on in your account options, log out and log back in.  This will be resolved soon too.

We have a couple of blocker issues we are looking at but the first release is coming along nicely.

Preliminary music uploads and flash jukebox support

Written on March 31, 2008 – 5:02 am | by admin

Niro has commited preliminary versions of an ajax based file upload system for grammafone, as well as a basic flash jukebox player ! Full playlist support is not quite finished, but should be soon at this rate. If you want to try this out, remember to switch from the default streaming mode and login again to see the flash player.

If you’ve got some time, please play with the latest trunk and let us know how it goes in the support forum.

Cheers!

New Developer joins GrammaFone

Myke Cocolla has joined the GrammaFone dev team, and has already posted a fix for that annoying Amazon API key whitespace problem. Thanks Myke! Check out the fixes here and here.

Remember to keep an eye on development at the trac page, get the code using subversion (no official release yet) and chat about it on the forum.
